Our Story

Hi, I’m Aurora, the Founder and Creative Director of Aurora Blissful Bath & Body.

And yes, Aurora is really my middle name.

My godmother gave me that name, so when I was thinking about what to call my business, Aurora just felt right. I wanted the name to mean something to me and carry a little piece of who I am.

Aurora Blissful grew from my love of self-care and something I’ve come to believe deeply: the small ways we care for ourselves matter.

I’m also a social worker, and caring for people has shaped so much of who I am. My work has taught me about compassion, dignity, advocacy, and what it means to simply show up for someone.

But I also know how easy it is to spend so much time showing up for everyone else that you forget about yourself.

That’s a big part of why Aurora Blissful means so much to me.

I wanted to create a brand that makes an everyday shower feel like a moment to come back to yourself. Nothing complicated or perfect. Just a few quiet minutes to slow down, enjoy a beautiful scent, breathe, and take care of you.

My Haitian heritage and Caribbean roots are part of the story, too. 🇭🇹 They inspire the warmth, island influence, tropical fruits, florals, botanicals, beautiful fragrances, and sense of escape you’ll find throughout Aurora Blissful.

But at the heart of it all, this brand is about more than soap.

It’s about self-care, dignity, confidence, representation, and remembering that you matter, too.

You shouldn’t have to wait until you’re completely exhausted to take care of yourself.

You don’t have to earn care. You are already worthy of it.
